Hand-Drawn and Hand-Cut Moving Rhino Earrings with Sterling Silver Hooks
Developed slowly and thoughtfully, these rhino earrings began as an original hand-drawn design. Time was taken to refine the shape, proportions and character of the animal before each silhouette was individually hand-cut and finished by hand, then suspended from handcrafted Sterling Silver hooks.
The rhinoceros is one of Kenya’s most powerful and treasured animals, a symbol of strength, endurance and the urgent need to protect the natural world. Although dedicated conservation efforts have helped safeguard Kenya’s black and white rhinos, they continue to face threats from poaching and habitat loss.
Handcrafted in Kenya as part of the SuhaniMara Nature & Animal Collection, these earrings honour the remarkable wildlife with which we share our home. They are a wearable reminder of Kenya’s natural heritage and of our collective responsibility to preserve it for generations to come.
