Yellow-Barked Acacia Wood and Sterling Silver Rhino earring studs 

Inspired by Kenya’s extraordinary wildlife and landscapes, these handcrafted earring studs features a sterling silver hand cut matt finish  rhino set against naturally patterned yellow-barked acacia wood and framed in sterling silver.

The wood was salvaged from part of a yellow-barked acacia tree that fell naturally during the rains. Instead of allowing it to be discarded, we transformed it into jewellery giving new purpose to a material already shaped by the Kenyan landscape.

The rhinoceros is one of Kenya’s most powerful and treasured animals, symbolising strength, resilience and the urgent need to protect the natural world. Although dedicated conservation efforts have helped safeguard Kenya’s black and white rhinos, they remain threatened by poaching and habitat loss.

Handcrafted in Kenya, each pendant has its own natural grain and character, making every piece unique. It is a wearable tribute to Kenya’s natural heritage and a reminder of our shared responsibility to preserve it for generations to come.
