Malachite is a vivid green mineral formed from copper deposits, known for its distinctive bands, rings and swirling patterns.
It is found mainly in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia, with additional deposits in Namibia, South Africa, Australia, Russia and the United States. Much of the finest malachite used in jewellery today comes from the DRC.
In this bracelet, Malachite is framed in Sterling Silver, creating a wrap form that feels both modern and protective just like our Signature Malaika which means Angel in Swahili. The wire wrapping represents the angel wings protecting the stone.
