Old East African Coin and Silver adjustable bangle

Old East African Coin and Silver adjustable bangle

3 adjustable bangles in sterling silver, set with

a)  1 cent copper coin

These original East African 1 Cent coins date to 1900s, when the East African coin was the currency used across the region under British administration. The coins feature the distinctive curved elephant tusks that surround their centre hole, a small but evocative detail from East Africa’s monetary past.

b) 1 cent copper coin with a sterling silver bezel- To add more elegance to the bracelet

c) rare 50 cent or half shilling coin - This rare and hard to source  original coin features  with Mount Kenya and a lion that captures both the landscape and wildlife so closely associated with the region. Its original lettering, relief and naturally aged surface are deliberately preserved, allowing the history of the coin to remain central to the design.

3 different bangles, stack them or wear them alone and carry a piece of history.
