These distinctive light earrings are created from old 50 Cent coins, also known as Half-Shilling coins, featuring the lion with Mount Kenya rising in the background, an evocative image of Kenya’s landscape and heritage.
Once part of everyday currency, the old coin is given a new life as a bold, sculptural ring. Its aged surface and natural patina preserve traces of its history, while the vibrant handmade leather brings a contemporary African character.
