Rather than allow the wood to be discarded, we salvaged a section and transformed it into jewellery, giving new purpose to a material already shaped by the Kenyan landscape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA limited collection that has taken  time, thought  and effort to create, hand cut and  treat the wood, polish and preserve while cutting the acacia trees paying close attention to detail, the end result has been rewarding.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe matt-finished brass acacia brings a warm, earthy golden tone to the design, echoing the sunlit bark and dry grasslands of Kenya while giving the tree a beautifully natural, understated character.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAcacias are vital to the ecosystem: their leaves and branches provide food for giraffes, elephants, rhinos  and other herbivores, while birds and insects rely on them for shelter and habitat.
